And it’s the big and famous day 2 of NaNoWriMo. Whoo hoo. Yup. It’s the day when new people are still pouring in and worrying whether being one day ‘late’ will mess up the entire month.
Newsflash for the curious and interested–no, it will not. I repeat, no, it will not cause any earth-shattering complications if you start one day late. In fact, use it as an incentive to get the words flowing and fuel yourself onowards to the golden 50k.
As for me and my second day…I was at school…what could you possibly expect?
Just kidding…but it has been that kind of a day. ~_^
I’ve finally got a word count from yesterday, 3,463. No, I’m not going to tell you what I did for today–why–because I haven’t written anything yet and therefore, have no new word count to share. *sigh*. Considering that I have more homework and a busy day ahead of me, I think this coming weekend will be catch up time.
On the bright side, I was finally able to work out some kinks with my FMC. Erm, I meant wrinkles…ignore the kinks–what were you thinking of?! *Shakes head* Anyhow, my wonderful FMC is a girl with issues (of course!) and who is about to start complicating the lives of everyone she runs into. It’s a blissfully wonderful opening, in my own biased opinion.
But you knew that already, right?
Cheers to everyone who has made it to day 2 without any major crisis’s on their own behalf. Congratulations. I’m very proud of you. For those of you who had such issues and still managed to plow through, *high-five* Way to write, my friend! And for those of you just starting, I’m cheering for you all the way. Write on!
