Do you take breaks while reading a book? Or read it straight through? (And, by breaks, I don’t mean sleeping, eating and going to work; I mean putting it aside for a time while you read something else.)

Erm…no. Absolutely not. I will walk around with one finger stuck between the pages and attempt to do everything safely possible within reason and sanitary measures (I absolutely refuse to take any book or other equally ‘useable’ item in the nearest vicinity of the bathroom. I also do not believe in keeping magazines in there…). I will read into the wee hours of the morning by light of the clock’s LCD display. I have flashlights. I cannot skip a book in a series, unless I am desperate and have arrived home to discover I bought books 1-5 and skipped book 2, in such a case, I will proceed to finish the series that very day and then google around for the missing pieces of plot. I usually cannot read anything else (or think of anything else) unless I finish said book, because my mind latches onto the expression of creativity and refuses to let go until it has been quite thoroughly entertained-i.e., reached the end of the book.

Cheers!
